Man Hospitalized After Having Seven Awful Holes On His Back Because of Cupping Therapy !!!

A cupping therapy went wrong to a Chinese Man after it left him with seven horrific holes on his back.

Images of a man with horrendous holes in his back after undergoing a month of cupping therapy make rounds online. Cupping therapy is an ancient Chinese method of sanctioning certain points in the back of a person to stimulate the flow of energy in the body.

Li Lin, a 63-year-old, from Chengdu, China have cupping treatment to make his frozen shouldren feel better. However, after a month of this treatment, large blisters appeared in the same place of his back where the cup on his therapy was being placed.

After a session of his therapy, he walked home and felt uncomfortably. He then suffered from high fever. His family immediately send him to the hospital.


Surgeon Xie land said that Li was sent to the emergency room with fever and his back was completely swollen. Based on the initial examinations, Li had a bacterial infection that may lead to sepsis if he did not go to the hospital right away.

Medical staff cleared that cupping should not have been done in a same position in multiple times as it can cause skin burns and infections.

Nevertheless, Li now is good and can consider going back to his normal life at it was not life-threatening.
