Switch to honey to get your required sugar and still be healthy. Is it really that simple !!!?

Hunter-gatherer tribe in Tanzania gets 15% of their sugar intake from honey and yet they have relatively long life expectancy and less incidence of obesity and diabetes. Should we jump to consuming honey to be healthy?
We blame our big bellies and wobbly thighs to the increasing amounts of sugar in our diets. With increasing obesity, cutting down our sugar intake will help keep our bodies healthy. However, Dr. Clair Marriot from the University of Brighton points out that the hunter-gatherer tribes have survived with high sugar diets.

A hunter-gatherer community from Tanzania called Hadza obtains 15% of their calories from honey. They have relatively long life expectancy and little to no incidence of obesity and type 2 diabetes. Could switching to honey help improve our health?

Honey is a form of sugar. Honey is composed largely of fructose and glucose wile common sugar is primarily sucrose. It contains as many as 180 individual components including flavonoids, vitamins and organic acids, compared to your table sugar. Lab tests on animals have resulted to reduced blood sugar on diabetic animals. Testing on humans, however, produced varied results which can be caused by poor study design and/or short-term testing. Long-term effects can be demonstrated by the Hadza tribe. !!
