Good guy Tesco! Store offers job to man caught shoplifting to feed his family !!!

I wonder if other retail stores will do the same thing Tesco did. It was noble to let go of the thief but they went for more by giving him a job.

People will do anything – even commit a crime – for their family. Sacrifices, which include loss of freedom and dignity, are needed to be made for the sake of loved ones.

A man was caught by a security staff stealing food at a Tesco branch in Malaysia. After discovering that the reason he stole is to feed his son, Tesco decided to let the man go and not press charges. They even offered him a job at the establishment. 

The man quit his job as a contract worker due to the condition of his wife. The man’s wife was still in the hospital as she fell into a coma during a birth complication. 

Together with his two-year old son, he visited the hospital when he passed by the store. They had been walking for more than an hour because they did not have any money for the bus ticket. He went straight at the food section and grabbed apples, pears and drinks. 

He was caught and was brought to the general manager. The general manager took pity of him and decided not to call the police. 

The general manager expressed that the man’s situation touched their hearts. The staff visited the house of the man’s relative and saw how empty and poor it was. The man has three children and could not work because he has to look after them. 

The wife is now out of coma but she lost the baby. 

Tesco is still undecided on what job to give the man but they have covered the family’s current expenses.  !!!
